Eric Carr Drum Solo With Electric Drums

This is my favorite Eric Carr drum solo. I seen him play live on the Tears are Falling tour a couple of years before this.

Eric had to be a little ahead of his time. Yes other drummers were using electric drums but Eric stayed true to the acoustic drum and did not over do it with the electric drum sound. Eric did an awesome job of incorporating the electric – triggered guitar cords into this solo. It sounds like he is playing with a guitarist.

Not to mention this solo had to have been a monster of a workout. His toms – orange and cymbals green are in normal positioning but the electric drums – red had to have been a stretch to get to them. Eric Car really thought out this solo and had a lot of control and speed to pull it off as well as he did.
